Journey back in time to the year 400 CE to explore the night sky as it was viewed during the time of the Hopewell. Observe the 18.6 year-long lunar cycle and alignment with the Newark Earthworks, explore the stars and the stories told of the world around us, and learn how our view and perception of the sky above us has changed over time.

Step into the pages of your favorite holiday stories! Experience holiday traditions with immersive activities throughout the museum. Enjoy ornament-making, science experiments, crafts and storytime. Explore a SciDome show, glassblowing demo, and visit Land of Legend village to learn about the many ways holidays are celebrated all around the world!
