Join us for Open Studio: Glass Fusing

Create your own decorative fused-glass art with piece of colorful glass! Choose your own design or follow our monthly theme: January 22, Noon - 3 PM: Hearts

Please note, to allow for fusing in the kiln, your item will be ready for pick-up at the museum the following week and will not be available immediately following the glass experience.

The Works Current Hours

The Works is open Tuesday through Saturday, 9 AM to 4 PM.

We are currently only accepting walk in visitors, reservations are not required. SciDome shows happen daily at 10:30 AM & 1:30 PM; Extra SciDome Shows happen throughout the day this week. There are no glassblowing demonstrations this week.

Visit Safely

Masks are required for guests 2 and up. Guests are asked to use social distancing. The Works will continue to follow the most up-to-date CDC recommendations and best practices for museums. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times in the museum.
