Join us for the first quarterly Family Night where we stay open late for even more hands-on fun throughout the museum! This month we’ll take you to the Moon and back with a special SciDome show, explore craters, and dive into the lunar cycle with Moon cookies.

Explore the science behind the fluffy stuff that falls from the sky, coats the ground, and gives you a day off school. Activities include – polymer snow, salt-snow scene painting, marshmallow snow launcher (building and testing), and paper snowflake (design and creation.)

The Works Current Hours

The Works is open Tuesday through Saturday, 9 AM to 4 PM.

We are currently only accepting walk in visitors, reservations are not required. SciDome shows happen daily at 10:30 AM & 1:30 PM; Glassblowing demonstrations can be viewed at 11:30 AM & 2 PM, Wed.- Sat.
